Legacy Childhood Education Centers is Hiring a Childcare Provider Near Broken Arrow, OK

Legacy Childhood Education Centers LLC is a licensed provider of childcare in the state of Oklahoma. As a nationally accredited facility, this organization IS NOT simply a baby-sitting service. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond basic standards and emphasizing a focus on the development and education of our students through classroom structure, stimulating lesson plans and a strong curriculum.

We are currently accepting applications for Assistant Teachers (Floaters), Teachers and Master Teachers at our three locations in Tulsa and Broken Arrow for all our classrooms (infants through school-aged).

Duties and Responsibilities

-Provide compassionate, nurturing care to our students while seeing to their social, emotional and physical well-being

-Foster learning through the development and application of age-appropriate lesson plans

-Build positive relationships with our students and their families in order to provide a stable and inclusive learning environment

-Participate in regular classroom design and maintenance tasks

-For Assistant Teachers/Floaters, the acceptable candidate must be flexible enough to work with children ranging in ages from 8 weeks to 10 years old, as needed based on the hiring center’s current staff

Required Qualifications

-Pediatric First Aid/CPR, Food Handlers Permit, Entry Level Child Care Training (these must be obtained within 90 days of employment)

- High school diploma or GED (still pursuing is acceptable)

Preferred Qualifications

-Previous early childhood education experience

-Valid driver's license and willingness to transport students in Legacy vehicles
